1. Our own cookies: one, only if you log in
This site and the game set no cookies of their own unless you log in to a game account, and use no advertising, analytics or tracking of their own. There are no optional trackers, so there is nothing to accept.
If you log in, the game server (sds-online.sds-game.workers.dev) sets one cookie, __Host-lps_rt. It keeps you logged in when you reload the page. It is HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), Secure, Partitioned (kept separately for this site), changes every time it is used, lasts 30 days, and is deleted when you log out. A login lasts 90 days at most before you have to enter your password again. It is strictly necessary for the login you asked for, so it does not wait for the cookie banner. If your browser blocks it, you stay logged in only until you reload.
2. Browser storage the game uses
The game keeps your scores, unlocks, settings and outfit in your browser's local storage (keys starting with sds-lps-), a co-op host token in session storage while you host, and, if you use a game account, your account name and an anti-forgery code under sds-acct-session (no password and no login token). These are needed for the game to work, stay on your device unless you make a Cloud save or post to the board, and can be cleared with Settings, Delete my data. The full list is in the privacy policy.
3. Cookies set by others
- Cloudflare, the network in front of the site, may set
__cf_bm, an HttpOnly bot-protection cookie that lasts about 30 minutes. It is strictly necessary to keep automated abuse off the site. - Cloudflare's Web Analytics is not turned on for this site, and our security policy would block its script (
static.cloudflareinsights.com) if it were ever added.
4. Your choices
Nothing optional loads, so there is nothing to accept or reject. If that ever changes, the optional part will stay off until you press Accept on a cookie banner, with an equally easy Reject. Your choice would be kept in your browser under sds-lps-consent. Cookie settings is here: (also at the bottom of every page). You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking Cloudflare's __cf_bm can stop the site loading.
